Today's nook is the Master Bathroom in the Hampton Designer Showhouse, that I visited last month, in Southampton, NY.
It was created by Robert Passal Interior and Architectural Design, NYC.
The entryway into the bathroom was flanked by these two beautiful hand painted vanities.
Loved the mirrors and the moldings....with the little pink accents.
Of course I looked up! Beautiful!
In the centre of the bathroom, in front of the bath, was a gorgeous hot pink chaise on a gorgeous rug.
It was such a whimsical, elegant, feminine room...
.....with just enough pink to still have a serene air to it all!
What do you think? Could you soak in the tub in this bathroom?
Loved, loved, loved them. Grey and pink perfection.
Had to check out the smallest room.
Delightful.
The tub.
Yeah, I could so do it.
I wanted to get in right there and then, being all sweaty and non glamorous (with bike helmet hair) from my bike ride from Southampton to Water Mill.
I thought it was all so positively lovely... right down to the pretty bath petals!
Happy Monday!

I know. Big statement. But true.
Their most unassuming website does not prepare one for the real life experience.
I didn't even get to the furniture...
... I just wept over the lights.
Every style you could imagine....
... all there in the one magical emporium.
It truly was an 'Aladdin's Cave'.
People were so calm walking around... as if it was nothing to them....
..... like it's normal to have all this choice!!!!!....
.....at these prices. Weep.
My legs were weak after the whole, emotionally draining experience.
The doorman had a giggle and offered me a chair.
I felt like Crocodile Dundee.
It is 7.03am and I am in 'the shed'. Tuesdays are like that. Guitar Ensemble at 7am so shed at 7.01am
Unpacking some new goodies. After my ABC Carpet and Home experience I am so inspired to expand my range.... as best I can.... here.... in this lighting wasteland we call Australia.
Starting today.
Stay tuned!

East Hampton
Whenever I stumbled upon a Restoration Hardware store, when I was over the other side of the world, I hightailed it inside. I made the most of it, big time.
5th Ave
I fell seriously in love with their chairs.
I had stalked them on their website...
.... but in real life?...heartstopping.
The perfect library chair!
Rustic grace.
Such statement pieces!
I seriously love these... with all their loose ends and exposed stitching.
They embrace their Orb Chandeliers...
which I have sold out of in my shop....until November .....
...and everyone happens to need them right now, like yesterday even. Sigh.
Look, they even come in a silver option up there!
Very 'Hollywood Regency', the silver.
And look!... super huge versions of my wooden Candelabra Chandelier!... with funky rope chains!
It comes in a full rope-ey version too.
You'd never guess this was the East Hampton store.
So coastal and beachy!
And they even had Birdcage Chandeliers... just like mine...
.... but with chunky rope chains.
Rope is big up there!
Some wonderful inspiration for boys rooms and libraries.
Love!
Loved these darling little sconces too. So many uses!
I can source these in Australia, all wired for 240V.
I have now decided to stock them after seeing them in these beautiful rooms.....
Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to walk in off the street and buy beautiful vanities like these?
Just look at the mirrors! Just what I have been looking for!
Post travel depression.
Glass pendants. Will I ever get over them?
Some spectacular industrial pieces.
Museum worthy....
... but softened with the elegant lines of times gone by...
... and pretty sparkly things!
Sigh.
Happy Sunday!
